Quovadis approved by FAA to provide RNP SAAAR Consultancy Services

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) recently approved Quovadis to provide Required Navigation Performance SAAAR (RNP AR) approval consultant services to assist operators in starting RNP operations.  Quovadis already provides these services outside of the United States.

 

Quovadis is a wholly owned Airbus subsidiary dedicated to Performance Based Navigation consulting. Quovadis provides a full range of services to safely improve operations, efficiency, aircraft utilization optimization, environmental performance, access to challenging airports and airspace capacity. Over the last years, Airbus has been supportive of the PBN initiative; the launch of Quovadis in 2009 was the natural step to further develop this activity to better support its customers whether they have Airbus aircraft or other RNP capable aircraft.

Quovadis staff includes expert pilots, performance engineers, RNP procedure designers, Air Traffic Control specialist and project managers who work closely with Quovadis customers to bring together all the necessary information and data to perform Flight Operational Safety Assessments and create the necessary documentation to get RNP SAAAR approved. By approving Quovadis to provide RN SAAAR consultancy, the FAA recognizes Quovadis expertise on AC 90-101 regulation.

 

Quovadis is based in Toulouse, France and has offices in China. Quovadis is the first company based outside of the United States to be qualified to provide RNP SAAAR consultancy services.
