Navigation Database Check
Quovadis provides a Navigation Data Base Validation service for RNP operations.
Quovadis reviews operator existing and proposed navigation data update process and documentation and ensure the data is accepted, verified and loaded. All data services documentation and associated process are subject to control and configuration by the operator. Each navigation data base will be updated and delivered error free every 28 days.
The first step of the process will be to set up the data exchange procedure between Quovadis and its customers. This procedure will include the delivery of the database to the operator via the Quovadis network server. This procedure also includes the delivery of the validation report.
The validation report structure shall be agreed with Quovadis and its customer.
Navigation Data Base (NDB) validation process:
The database will be validated by comparing the RNP and RNAV procedures to the RNP ones of the “Golden Database” and the RNAV ones of the previous cycle, the “Golden Database” used for approval by regulation authorities for RNP operations. This “Golden Database” is considered as having no coding problem.
